who I am

My work revolves around my immediate surroundings. My themes often explore feelings of melancholy, transience, loss, longing, and other forms of intimacy. The common thread is how I perceive the world at a particular stage in my life. To express myself more clearly, I sometimes adjust or manipulate things to fit my vision. Reality, as it translates to, doesn’t always feel powerful enough to convey what I want to say about it. That’s why I like to place a layer between reality and a possible outcome – perhaps in the same way a painter engages with his materials.

Although my work often has a diary-like quality, some series are more social or contemplative, revealing a more complex relationship with reality.

This evolution was reflected in my career. I participated in various group exhibitions, including:

Self during Paris Photo 2018,

Faces at Les Rencontres d’Arles 2025, and

Sex and Politics at the Bastille Design Center during Paris Photo 2025.
